I can see why this room is one of the official hot rooms of June, phil.curtis's 'The volcano' is a mind blowing room and will certainly be staying on my favourites list for a while.
The room
It is very well created and I imagine it took him days of hard work to make it as perfect as it is. The volcano is made out of red and black doormats with some hidden candles and smoke machines underneath. There is flaming barrels around the outside with dead trees which look very effective. To add to that there is also a seating area to have a chat in. Maybe you should try and climb to the top of the volcano, but don't get burned!
The positives
I can't stress enough how good the volcano is. It has the wow factor that I like to see in rooms. All the fire gives it the extra brilliance as well as the dead trees. Also the mood light adds a wonderful dark affect and is one of the things I love about this room.
The negatives
Although it's hard to say anything negative about this room, I have to say that the trophy really doesn't fit in with the theme.
Overall
Overall, I have to say this room is one of my favourite rooms I've reviewed so far. The creativity is just pure brilliance and I hope to see some other great rooms from Phil in the future. I give it a 10/10! Well done!
